I really enjoyed to see how Bantjes transform her amazing ideas into real stuff. Several people from the graphic design world expressed the ways how they feel about Marian Batjes; how she have been changing the design industry through her beautiful products. In this video Bantjes present us some of her final works; one of those final works are the christmas recycled gift cards. Bantjes show us the particularly way in how she gets inspire and then how she finalize her amazing artisan work.

Typographic Artisans
Typographic Artisans
From these new video series we meet Jessica and Erik. They both work at Title Case; and they both are typographic artisans. What is a typographic artisans? Well, basically is an artist who works with letters. Creating and using different type of fonts these artisans create art. Jessica and Erik explain us how they use their work space to create and get inspire. Jessica adds that doing lectures to other people makes her to see ideas in a different perspective. These typographic artisans show us how to transmit a certain feeling through letters; some examples are: signs, books, a magazine cover, etc.
Both Jessica and Erik tell us how a typographic designer differs from a graphic designer. The way in how a typographic and a graphic designer work is different one from another. Typographic artisan is one of the branches that us as designers can chose to explore.
