Interview with Sean Adams

 Interview with Sean Adams

It is amazing how a simple thing like an interview can change someone's perspective about something, in this case, my perspective about graphic design. I didn't knew nothing about Sean Adams before this week and I'm so grateful that our teacher, Professor Levine showed my classmates and I who Sean Adams is. Sean Adams is a designer, a teacher and the president of AIGA, the largest communications design organization in the world. During his interview, Adams tell us some of the tips that we as designers can use while working in a project. Adams also offers advice in how students should work on their portfolios and post college life.

One of my favorite parts in this interview, was Sean talking about how his family thought he was going to be a lawyer like the rest of his relatives, and how design chose him to be something else. I can easily relate myself to Adams when he explained how his family didn't knew what a graphic design was; it happens to me all the time. Adams also tell us how his relatives thought he was getting ready to become an engineering because of their lack of knowledge in graphic design.

I really enjoyed watching this interview with Sean Adams, it inspired me to be what I want to be, a graphic design.
